So I posted recently about diarrhoea issues I've been having for a few weeks. I had stool tests done and they came back normal so no bacterial infection and no signs of colorectal cancer. But the diarrhoea isn't getting any better and I'm still anxious about it. Today especially, it's been 3 times and now it's practically just bright yellow water (sorry for the TMI). I know that yellow stool is often connected to the pancreas or gallbladder but the maddening thing is, I feel more or less fine outside of the diarrhoea. No abdominal pains, no nausea, no loss of appetite (although I am struggling to eat due to the anxiety of it just going straight through me).
I have a history of suspected IBS but I've never had anything like this and especially not this long lasting. Are yellow stools also symptomatic of that? I'm also struggling to rehydrate myself and wonder if that might be contributing to my struggles.
I have another appointment tomorrow but I don't know what else they can do. I think the lack of any other symptoms is making them a bit more dismissive. But as terrified as I am about any kind of medical procedure, I feel like just begging for an MRI or colonoscopy at this point.
