Ultrasound Next Week

I posted here the other day about some right sided upper stomach pain I've had for the last couple of months and following a blood test I had last week which showed a raised inflammation markers my Dr said he wanted to order an abdominal scan and a gastroscope. I've just had a call from the hospital offering me an appointment next Thursday. That is literally within 2 weeks. I'm utterly terrified that means they suspect cancer and it's been put through as urgent. I am so scared right now.

Sending hopeful thoughts your way. It's tough and it's scary, but bear in mind that very few of these tests - even urgent ones - result in a cancer diagnosis.
