    Red blood in bowl

    Could anyone reassure me please?

I had some bright red blood in the bowl and on the toilet paper today. The stool was a normal colour but surrounded by pink water.

I was diagnosed with piles a couple of years ago, but haven't had problems for a while.

I have a phobia about bleeding. Is it limited with piles? I have a fear of it not stopping after a bad accident years ago.

    Many thanks everyone.

Totally normally to have bleeding with piles sometimes. Drink plenty of water and up your fibre intake to help with going. The bleeding is usually short lived, so try not to worry.
