For the last three weeks I've been suffering a persistent but mild lightheadedness. I contacted a doctor a week ago and he said (it was a phone appointment so he didnt do any tests) he thought it was anxiety. I have actually got an introductory session with a therapist booked for next week now.

Despite what the doctor said the lightheadedness has continued to blight me. I've found if I rise quickly it comes on more intensely. I've done a couple of long (3 hour) walks and if it made things worse it wasn't by much. I'm not sure it made any difference.

Now I've got it into my head that I have blocked arteries that are causing the lightheadedness. My diet has never been good and my exercise is very off and on. My heart has always been my main anxiety.

I've asked the doctor for a blood test to see if I have a deficiency causing me problems. I don't know what else to do. I feel like I'm a ticking time bomb that could explode at any minute.
