    Today I am a year older

    Trust me to have a birthday on Friday the 13th. 39 this year. I'm going to remain 39 forever. After today I celebrate no more birthdays

    Thanks Blue. It's just a number right? I'm waiting for the curry shop to open to treat myself to a curry and a katlama.

    I hope I make it to 40, life is so stressful atm I feel like it's doing me harm. Hopefully by end of next week that will improve.

    All this lark about Friday 13th being a date of 'bad luck' is all a load of crap and probably one of the most infamous conspiracy theories of all time.

    I know unfortunate events have been known to occur on said dates but it's usually by pure coincidence than anything else, and of course 'bad luck' can occur on basically any other date. Plus no doubt self-fulfilling prophecies can sometimes come into it too.

    A (belated) many happy returns to James BTW.

    James, my mother announced on her 49th birthday that she was having no more birthdays. She was going to remain 49 for ever.
    Shes now 95

    Shes edged up to 60 if you push her but will never catch up to her real age.
