Have a mri with contrast booked for next week, not worried about the mri itself just the use of contrast.... looking for some positive thoughts on having it?

I don't know of anyone that has ever had a reaction to it. I think it is pretty rare.

It's been a while but I had several of them before, during and after cancer treatment as well as for heart exams and I can tell you from personal experience, it's nothing to worry about. It just feels a little weird is all. I was put on an IV and they told me they were injecting the contrast and I would feel it. No pain or anything, just weird. It went away quickly as well. Don't sweat it really

Thanks for the replies! Eases my mind abit.... have been relentlessly obsessing over it more than the results of it lol
