Appendix area ache and hip tenderness

Hi all, I hope you are all doing well.

For the last couple of months I have been experiencing an irritating abdominal ache in the appendix region, and occasional tenderness at the top of my hips. It isn't there all the time, but much of the time and the severity can come and go.

I have been to see my GP who says I seem fine after a physical examination. I am due to get bloods and a stool sample done over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone has experience with these kind of symptoms? If so, I'd love to hear from you.

Bit more background. I had very loose stools earlier in the year and got bloods and stool sample done then which were all clear and that problem has solved itself. I am an anxious person though, and my stomach is often tense. I'm also fairly sure I've experienced the same (or very similar) abdominal pain before, with grumbling appendix the suspected cause. Maybe this is just something that flares up for me from time to time.

    Thanks for reading,
    Sam

I think if the GP says it's fine then it probably is.
It could be a strain. Maybe give it some time and if still bothering you, go back to your GP again.
