    Question about ‘weakness’

Apologies if this has been asked already but I can’t find a similar post. When the sticky says ‘failure not feeling’, what is the actual difference? What I mean is that I have a weak hand, stiff pinky finger with sometimes soreness/aching in the forearm after writing, brushing teeth etc. While I can still perform tasks, I am definitely noticing that it’s not as easy to perform them. Can this be an early MND symptom? Or must I have the failure to brush teeth, move the finger etc?

Weakness in hand/arm could be early MND, but may also have other causes. Early MND doesn't require complete failure of tasks, just progressive difficulty. Seeing a doctor is crucial for accurate diagnosis and ruling out other possibilities.

It's the difference between subjective vs objective weakness. True weakness can demonstrated and measured objectively beyond just your feelings. Perceived weakness is where you feel like you're weak but objectively aren't.

I think I feel the same things. I get really tired brushing my teeth, cooking like : I brush my teeth and after a bit, my shlouder starts to burn and I need to stop brushing my teeth to rest, same as cooking etc. Is this call weakness ? fatigue ? Does weakness starts like that ?
