Gonna be switching to non-alcoholic beer. Will my mood improve?

So after a Christmas and New Years worth of drinking every night and suffering from more anxiety, I've decided that its finally time to lay off the alcohol for a while for my mental health to get better. To keep socialising with family on weekends though, I'm gonna go for non-alcoholic beer. Will it make a difference?

My spouse did it over the past year and found it helpful. Doesn't hurt to try, glad to hear you are working on it.

Laying off the booze for a bit definitely sounds like a good idea, even if it's only for just 2-3 weeks.

    Thanks you guys.

An alternative I also came up with was a more gradual one. Like instead of drinking alcoholic beer cans, I could start out drinking some in some glasses to help with the social aspect and then drink non-alcoholic beer for the rest. Just an alternative of course.
