Thread: Anterior Pain in Right Knee

Question Anterior Pain in Right Knee

When I woke up this morning, I noticed as i was walking around that my knee was hurting (with no injury). I took some OTC meds for it (tylenol, ibuprofen) to no avail. It doesn't seem like it hurts when I put pressure on it while laying down; only while walking. There's also noticeable pain in the thigh above the knee.

My mind wants to jump to worse case scenario of a Sarcoma, despite there being a very slim chance of that. But I'm trying to figure out what it could be with no injury. I'm 23 with no history of Arthritis or anything. Not sure what y'all think about what it could be.

It could be so many things, maybe you slept on it funny, did something too strenuous, knocked it etc but I doubt very much it’s anything more serious. I’d give it a couple of weeks and see if it improves but try to distract yourself and challenge your thoughts as best you can in the meantime.
