That's good! So if you are happy you are clear of polyps, then surely you are happy you are clear of anything bigger?!

Thanks Mocadona, yes I was happy to hear that I had no polyps a few weeks ago, but still very scared now that it is something sinister, as they didn't really say either way. I should get the letter tomorrow, but that will likely just make me feel worse.

Still guessing that if anything obvious was flagged on the scan they would have either mentioned it or fast tracked my appt by now...

Thought I would update this thread so it can be seen, and concluded for future people (and me!)

I spiralled hugely last two days with what is described in this thread. I got in to work today and luckily I have a very good manager who is understanding and told me to immediately ring my ENT. I got a call back after I left a message explaining how badly i was spiralling.

The terminology used in the report didn't help and is of course meant for a specialist to interpret. Regardless, he got back to me and explained that the obstructing lesion was nothing sinister, it was likely a benign syst/mass that may need removing and potentially I may need sinuplasty, a minimally invasive day treatment.

So there you have it, needless to say the relief is palpable. Made it through sniper alley again.
