Muscle twitch when tapping

Hi everyone,

I hope I can get some help. I’ve had muscle twitches for years and those don’t bother me anymore. However I notice sometime my muscles twitch if they are tapped. Today for example my son kicked me and my arm started twitching. I feel like I’ve read that’s bad somewhere. I don’t want to google cause then I’ll freak myself out. Can someone tell me if that is common among twitchers ?
