I've been a patient for over a year now. There are many clinics, I went for Mamedica as they have a one-off payment scheme for consultations for life if you receive PIP, so now I only pay for my medicine and not my reviews with my psychiatrist.
The quality of the medication unfortunately varies a lot, but in general isn't fantastic. There are a few good quality strains. It's important to research which ones as otherwise you can end up wasting a lot of money on ones that are low quality, or not helpful for your condition.
I got poisoned by mouldy medicine once and my pharmacy ignored my (very serious) complaint which isn't great :( But that's only happened once.
One problem is the medicines are generally low (less than one percent) CBD, which is very helpful for anxiety and health in general and a natural component of the plant. So I sometimes combine some high CBD medicine which I find gives much better effects.
