Breast indentation line

This is my first post and I am freaking out. First of all I have a phobia of anything Boob related. I noticed about 2 weeks ago an indent line about 2 inches long along the outside of my right breast. It only appears when I raise my arm and flattens out when I stretch the skin. I have an appointment at the breast clinic in a weeks time but I’m terrified what they’ll find.

I had a mammo, ultrasound and biopsy on the same breast a year ago and they found fibrosis and were sure there was no cancer and signed me back to the GP. I just hope they didn’t miss anything

Has anyone else had a similar line on the outside “fatty part’ of their boob?

I have a few of these and they are stretch marks.

I am sure you are fine, but the breast clinic can confirm.

Yep I have this due to stretch marks and having big breasts.

Thank you for your reassurance. To me they look like stretch marks. My GP freaked me out when she called it a dimple. I’m 41 and had my first baby last year so my boobs have had a lot of changes recently I’m hoping it’s just a large stretch mark

oh yeah having a baby, for most women will give them stretch marks, all over even the breasts.

Just an update for anyone reading in the future. Mammogram and ultrasound all clear with no further checks.

The breast consultant wasn’t worried about the line at all she said line are not usually a symptom but any changes always get them checked for peace of mind

It's completely understandable to feel anxious about changes in your body, especially after your previous experiences. I think it's great that you're being proactive and seeing a specialist. Many people have variations in their breast tissue that can be perfectly normal, but it’s always best to get it checked out for peace of mind.
