    Lol.
I'm really feeling the muscle tension now.
Yesterday it took me a meer 2 hours to just clean the shower door and all that stretching. I don't think it was ever cleaned. And there was me thinking I'll just take some bits and pieces over to make life easier on the moving day but there was no way could put anything out until I'd blitzed the place. I have a new respect for cleaners now.
    How are you today JHR?

Well 1st time on today and I'm sad to admit this flaming loft has beaten me...another early start with moving a few things that need to live in the loft around so each area is zoned...we have a summer cushions, gazebo and picnic chairs area, a Christmas area, a memorabilia area (stuff I can't bear to part with), an old photo are all neatly boxed up and a decorating area. All completely accessible
Then onto what I thought was the very last "tip" load all packed into OH's car and finally onto the tramp incinerator bin to burn another 10 bags of confidential paperwork. 5 bags down bin full to the top with Ash so I've succumbed to paying a local shred it firm to get rid of the final 5 bags (just cannot face another on day slaving over the tramp bin)...its gonna cost us about £40 but hey ho at least my lungs will have rest
And we've found another half car load of bits and pieces that need another tip visit
Guess what folks we've been so busy my anxiety has really been given a kick in the proverbials, haven't thought about it once but to say I'm knackered is truly an understatement
Hope everyone else has had a reasonably peaceful day

I'm in the same boat, knackered and but fully focused on the task.
It amazes me how much you can get into a car but it also amazes me on how many car loads of stuff we don't really need.
You've got a great job done JHR, maybe next find a smaller task to undertake x

Well I didn't get on at all yesterday...Internet here really playing up....Still using my distraction techniques to keep it at bay but I'm going to have to be really careful cos I'm absolutely knackered. Thinking about investing in some private therapy to see if they can help me practice keeping it at bay whilst I'm relaxing. Seems an impossible task just now
Hope everyone else has had a reasonably peaceful day so far

Had a crappy few Internet days ....signal very weak or not there at all
Also had a few crappy anxiety days, diet been rubbish and I've got another bout of IBS and true to firm with me it just has to be something serious.
Having a mare with Uncle who really doesn't want Aunty to go into respite I fear he's on the verge of breakdown and I think my recent activities are taking there toll. I so wish I could find some balance, I work so hard, knacker myself out then end up with super bad anxiety cos I feel to tired to do anything. Sitting about really doesn't suit me
Hope everyone else has a reasonably peaceful day

    Re: My Week From Hell

I missed your previous post but that was my moving day.
If you feel you need therapy then it's certainly worth a try.
At the moment it's distraction and keeping busy to stop the thoughts but as you say, that brings exhaustion.
So when you do nothing you are coupled with anxiety and tiredness.
The true way out is accepting how you feel without judgement or overthinking.
The fact that so many of us still suffer shows clearly it is not as simple as that. Relaxing being one of the issues so to help you it is a good idea to couple that relaxation with meditation, yoga, gentle exercise, a calming hobby like drawing, craft work or similar.
Therapy is good for offloading but they won't give advice. They will listen, nod attentively, prod into childhood, suggest Cbt, discuss mindfulness but it's up to you to change what is affecting you. x

    Re: My Week From Hell

Still feeling over anxious, everything is starting to feel overpowering so I'm having a few quiet days.
I've decided not to try any outside therapy but I'm going to try a few techniques suggested on here.
Since we reorganised our loft all my old craft stuff has become more accessible so I'm going to try and get in to making some personal Christmas cards. A nice calming activity that doesn't physically tax my body but will, hopefully, distract my brain from its negative thoughts
Hope everyone else has a reasonably peaceful day

    I think that's a great idea JHR.
You could make some Christmas decorations as well.
Creativity is good for the brain and relaxing.

Still extremely anxious and focusing on the negatives in my life seems far easier at the moment but I'm working on it
Looking at you tubes for hone made Chrissy decries sort of keeping my head worms at bay
Hope everyone else has a reasonably peaceful day
