Hi JHR....
Your not on your own with the morning anxiety, I get that a lot, if I’m really struggling it can wake me around 5 in the morning....I have been told it’s something to do with the Cortisol Hormone, at night it slows down to help you sleep, as the night goes on it starts rising to help you wake in the morning, but if you produce too much or there is a sudden spike it can cause anxiety....
I find if I just get up, as long as it’s not before 5, make a brew, have a shower and just try and get on with things it does help break that cycle rather than just lying in bed worrying about the symptoms it’s causing as that’s when I find my mind goes to places I don’t want to go....
Usually then as the day goes on I start feeling a little better....xxxx
