Brain tumor or just health anxiety?

    Male
    25
    350 pounds
    5 feet 8 inches
    White
    I don't drink
    I don't smoke
    I don't do drugs

I take magnesium taurate 200 mg and 12.5 mg of Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate
    Pantoprazole sodium 40 mg

I'm seeing a psychiatrist and I have ocd and possibly more issues but I can't say for certain.

This is a long post but I'm desperate and need any and all advice.

So for the past 2 years I've gotten a range of deja Vu symptoms. Some episodes are a second and I forget what it's even about. Some are normal and some are a minute long. I'm aware during these and the only symptoms that would sometimes accompany them are a burning anxiety in the stomach and tingling in the feet. (Now I did research on the epigastric rising for epilepsy and it doesn't seem to be a rising feeling. Plus I've had this same stomach and feet tingling symptoms whenever I feel any symptom that scares me. For example. My heart fluttered and my stomach and feet did the same thing. So I genuinely believe it's anxiety.)

However I'm also getting random flashes of old dreams and memories. I've had these for a few years. I've heard others have them as well so idk.

I also see flashes sometimes but I'm myopic and haven't had glasses in 10 years.

But one thing I've noticed is that ever since I've been obsessed with the deja Vu symptoms, I've noticed them more and I don't notice the flashes anymore. Then when I worry about the flashes I start noticing the deja Vu more.

My sleep schedule is terrible. I fall asleep at 8 am and wake up at 4 pm. I'm supposed to have a sleep apnea machine since 2018 but I can't afford one.

I do have severe health anxiety. I've been to ER over 25 times since 2017 and for all kinds of things. Heart failure, heart attack, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia concerns etc.

I'm now scared I have a brain tumor and I know realistically none of you can tell me that I don't have one. But I'm just trying to ask for any advice as I've been to the ER twice and they both times said it's anxiety and to follow up with a neurologist. I did go to the er in 2020 for a CT scan without contrast for my vertigo and brain zaps symptoms where I'd feel like I was going to faint as my head buzzed. but they said that ct was normal. My worries is what if it was small and they didn't see it? Especially without contrast. Plus I haven't had the deja Vu symptoms until only 2 years ago.
The earliest appointment is November 8th so im just sitting here waiting nervously waiting for myself to get a full blown seizure. I'm just so scared. I just am a mess and I can't stop worrying. I had another deja Vu an hour ago and I felt that anxiety in my stomach and feet tingling and I'm trying to remind myself I've had this before and it's not a rising feeling like with epilepsy but still I just can't stop worrying 😭😭

Can you describe a typical Deja vu episode? From start to finish? What do you mean by “you forget”?

How long have these Deja Vu episodes been ongoing?

I don’t think it’s a brain tumour or epilepsy from what you’ve posted; I want further information just to make sure.

Sometimes it lasts a second. Sometimes it lasts a minute. This only happened twice. I'll just feel like things are very familiar and it feels like I'm able to predict what's gonna happen next on the longer episodes. Typically it makes me anxious only after I learned about it possibly being epilepsy. Before then I would get this and it would go away and that was that but now I'm getting the stomach kinda burning anxiety and feet tingling. After I get a deja Vu. But to be fair I've gotten this same stomach and feet symptoms when I get anxious or when I get a symptom that scares me. So it's not exclusive to the deja Vu. I am conscious afterwards and I remember what most deja vus are about.

And what I mean by I forget is some episodes are so short that I forget what it is the deja Vu was about. It's like a memory that I'm almost about to remember but can't. That happened two years ago and then went away and it happens once in a while now

I’ve been posting on these forums for over 12 years and I can tell from your multiple posts you’re in the grip of severe health anxiety. You need to get this treated!

From what you’re saying, there’s nothing that immediately jumps out as being conclusively a seizure. Deja Vu is a normal phenomenon which can feel very odd. You panic during it because you know it’s a seizure symptom.

A focal seizure is a bit like an orgasm. It doesn’t start at maximum intensity, it starts and then builds until it reaches maximum intensity and then stops. So in practice this would be the stomach sensation would start and continue, then Deja vu would develop, and other symptoms. These would all be occurring together. They can be short, but generally they last a couple of minutes.

You do need to see a doctor about your health anxiety though!

I see on your comment it says healthcare professional with health anxiety. If you're a doctor or nurse etc, have you ever seen symptoms like these? Also oh okay so it seems like the stomach symptoms happen before the deja Vu? Cause mine is right after. So I'll get the deja Vu and then when I try to think of what it was even about, my stomach then starts to get that anxiety feeling like I have butterflies. I used the bathroom twice after the event happened about an hour or so after it happened so maybe I gave myself anxiety and then it sped up the process of having to go to the bathroom because I went twice within 30 minutes apart. I just have this concern that it's gonna turn into a huge seizure. Also if I may ask, not all epilepsy is brain tumor related I assume? My CT scan without contrast was 4 years ago but I heard without contrast, it's not accurate and my deja Vu started 2 years ago so it would've been 2 years after the CT scan.
