There's no such thing as a stupid question

I'm 30f, UK, autistic (ASD1) and have ADHD and GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder), all diagnosed in adulthood, and I am not secretive about it. I also think there's no such thing as a stupid question. AMA.
I'm posting this because I have time on my hands today, I just took my new, higher dose of Concerta so I'm feeling a bit overly energised and chatty and because many people seem to want to ask questions about these things but don't know how or who or when. I get asked random questions in unrelated threads a fair amount (things like why do I tell people, what are the symptoms, etc), so I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in asking in a thread for it

Don't worry about sounding rude or non-PC. Clumsy wording isn't a crime, as long as you're not out to insult anyone, I really won't mind at all if your phrasing is off or out of date or anything like that. You can't learn if no one teaches you, after all.

    Couple of things:

If I don't know the answer or my info isn't solid, I will say so. I'm not going to pretend to be an expert in anything.

I can only speak for myself with any certainty - I'm not going to try to speak on behalf of all people with any of these conditions.

One of my special interests has always been human brains/psychology, so whilst I'm not a doctor, I also have a better knowledge level than average through that.

I will be out for 90 mins or so in about half an hour but will be answering when I get home if I miss anything

Re: There's no such thing as a stupid question

I often wonder if I have ADHD, my mind is constantly busy and one small thought can generate a whole other scenario. How do you find out if you are?
