Neck issues for 3 months!! Anxiety is back with a vengeance!

Well here we go again.

For the last 3 months I’ve had issues with my neck and throat. I suffer with acid reflux, which when it’s bad, it gives me globus sensation. I take tablets for 2 weeks then it goes away.

The neck/throat issues are, feeling fat necked, feel my double chin more, neck and shoulders feel tight, constant need to click my neck, I feel all the glands in my neck as been prodding a lot. I’m mainly focusing on my neck more. I’ve been to the doctor and she thinks it’s a muscle pull. She felt my neck etc and said no swollen nodes or anything.

Obviously my HA mind is telling me it’s cancer or something serious. Tonight after work, my left ear started making a buzzing noise like tinnitus too.

Won’t lie I’ve had enough it’s getting me down now. Going back to the dr in 2 weeks but really in need of some advice.

Just a slight update on this.

My neck and shoulder on the right side is still aching. But going back to see the doctor in just over a week.

They think it’s muscular, I’ve been to see a physio and he thinks so too.

The doctor gave me diazepam but I’m afraid to take it.

Has anyone taken it before?

Stress and anxiety can show up quite severely in the muscles of the head and neck. I get stress headaches sometime and other neck-related issues. Tinnitus can also be caused by this. Diazepam is excellent and I bet you see an improvement when you take one. Take them only "as needed" not on a regular basis.
