    Night terrors

    Hello everyone,
For over a couple of years I've had these episodes of waking up, feeling like I'm being choked so bad I'm hold/scratching my throat. I feel really numb and breath really fast and my heart rate goes fast too. The doctor said that it's Night terrors I'm experiencing, trying to get therapy but it's a 6 month waiting list. I get them multiple times a night especially at the beginning of sleep. Any advice on managing them until I can get help? it's severely affecting my sleep and work. TIA

I'm sorry I don't know how to help you, but know you're not alone and I also get em. Just try to wash them off when you get up and start the day.
