    Forgetting conversations

So, I'm 34. I have a fear of memory loss/brain tumor/alzhimers. Got back to mu boyfriends house snd saw a card on his table asked who's it was and he said we'd had this conversation earlier.

I'm 90% certain we didn't. I remember my whole day, getting into his, giving him a gift, kisses and putting the bits away. He bad a meeting so I'd left him to it and went unto room where said card was and saw he put the gift on table. He was then in meeting for 2 hours. I do not recall this

Sounds normal for anxiety to me unless he was mistaken and maybe made a mistake in his memory.

I can recall receiving a text message 5 mins after I arrived. We'd headed into kitchen I gave him his gift, put shopping away, kissed. He'd walked off with gift and I had thought bed taken into his bedroom. It was only when I walked unto the living room where he thought we'd had conversation and saw the gift on table. I surely would've seen this earlier if we'd have had conversation surely? This was an 8 min time frame.

Hi. Anxiety will do this for certain, all the times I've forgotten items from the local supermarket if the anxiety has been elevated. But then I'm 59.

And just reread your post, an 8 minute time frame? That's pretty precise. And all those other actions in sequence, you've remembered those and in order too. That's a very decent recall. Nothing wrong with your memory that I can see.

Happens a lot to me, actually, more so when I'm stressed.

I know which is why I'm confused and was weirded out because how could I have forgotten something. I think he either saw the card when he put gift down and remembered a previous conversation perhaps? It's hard not knowing and that's the OCD, she needs to know and I can't. I got a text either side and I remember both of them and replying. I made a coffee and asked if he wanted a tea.

I now think it's him who's forgetting things because we were on phone tonight and he said 'we spoke for 45 mins last night' and we weren't, it was 13 mins I have call log proof. It was a few days before we had longer call.
