    New member introduction

    Hi all.
I hope this message meets you well.
I'm a 52 year old male, and a life long sufferer of anxiety, depression and OCD. I've been prescribed various medications over the years, and am currently taking paroxetine, quetiapine, and pregabalin. If I'm honest, it's difficult to know what medication has helped, and what hasn't, as I've experienced various stable, and unstable moments throughout my adult life. I'm currently unstable, and it's a very scary place.
I lost my mother last year, and have recently had a number of problems with my landlord. I think these life events have tipped me over the edge. It's so horrible what anxiety sufferers have to go through. God bless you all

Welcome to NMP; Mr In bits. I hope you find our forum helpful.

I'm a 52 year old male as well and I've been also on the med roller coaster. I find the pregabalin to be very helpful.

    Take good care,

    Sal

Hi Mr In Bits. Welcome to NMP It sounds like you've been through the grinder recently, I lost my Dad last year. Those factors you mentioned will certainly cause an uptick with anxiety.
