    Vertigo update

    Hi all,

    Hope everyone is doing well.

I've been working on everything and have been feeling better for it. 2 nights ago I felt like I was floating when I woke up in night and since I have felt light on my feet and at times off balance even when laying down. Thing is, I am back to work and my anxiety felt so much better hence the worry for it coming on like that. I didn't have that feeling laying down even at by worst in June, it would always stop the dizziness. Maybe I am consciously anxious but why do we have something as soon as we start feeling better. I don't want to message the doctors as it was put me ok to a spiral. Has anyone had similar and does it sound like part of this while anxiety thing. Ideally I want to have a positive mindset and accept it (which I did with my symptoms last week and they eased) but I've been trying that to no avail. I may just give myself the weekend. Not sure if perhaps to take a propranolol, I don't like taking them but may help.

    Re: Vertigo update

I've had vertigo since February. Had it every day for 5 months. Then nothing for 3 months. Now again on and off. It frustrates me too because I never feel particularly anxious, but I've been stressed at work and my nervous system just can't regulate itself. I've accepted that.
I never feel it when I'm moving around, only when I'm sitting down or lying down and worst when I'm lying down with my eyes closed. I had bloodwork and a brain MRI done and referred to an ENT and all came back clear, so the conclusion was it was stress related

Hi Sparkling, really good that you got the all clear. It is all so frustrating! I feel woosy and unsteady most of the time the last couple of days and it feels like there is no rest bite.

    Re: Vertigo update

I put in a request to the GP to pass my message on to the Doctor and they got back to me saying it's not urgent and there are no appointments at present. This country is so so bad! Even a few weeks ago I was able to get a same day appointment. Why are they being like this, it's so stressful. Life has changed so much, almost not worth living like this now. Money, health care awful, war....what's the point

    Re: Vertigo update

I just received this after putting another form in...I feel a bit better now as they've sent it to the GP that I've been dealing with.

Thank you for contacting us again. We have removed you from the waiting list for the appointment and forwarded the information to......

It has to be related to the anxiety etc. I know that but I can't reason with myself and I was doing so well.

Trying to ease myself and say this is anxiety too but it's a different feeling to what I've had and now I'm spiraling so much
