Low blood sugar in the morning worries

    Hi everyone,

I’ve always suspected I had hypoglycaemia, at least over the last 8 years. However, I would just eat and feel better. 3 months ago I had blood work done after 12 hours of fasting and my BS was at 2.9. This is quite low, and I surprisingly didn’t have symptoms that morning except for some hunger pains.

Fast forward to now, I’ve had major anxiety about my blood sugar even though I already knew it got low when I don’t eat every 3-4 hours. But seeing the results on my blood work made my anxiety SO bad.

I’ve gained 10lbs since then because I’m overeating. Before bed I try to have a snack, last night I had an egg and whole wheat toast at around 11pm. I had a chocolate bar at 9:30 or so, this isn’t something I eat often. The next morning I woke up SO hungry. I had some bread and peanut butter and it felt like the hunger pains wouldn’t go away, finally did after having some protein yogurt and granola. But that scared me…I knew it must be low blood sugar.

Is this something I should worry about? Anyone else get this?
