    Peeing too much

    Hi all,

I have always had a sensetive bladder and since around 17 (I am now 40) have got up in the night to pee a couple of times, GP gave me tablets years ago but they had side effects. Since last night however I have almost contantly felt like my bladder is not fully empty and I am now so sensitve to the feeling of it being there. It's distrupting my life now and it's so frustrating. I did a tea yesterday afternoon and a couple of drinks (non alcoholic) before 9pm last night but not enough to make me go as much as I have. Any idea, I don't want to google....ideally I hope I am just oversensetised and it will not be as bad soon.

I think you're probably right about being oversensitised, to be honest. I know that doesn't make it easier, though.

Thank you, I hope it goes soon. I have always had a sensetivity but I just felt like I had to keep going last night (and today so far).

Feel like I need to go every 20 minutes, only a bit...it's playing on my mind so much.

Could be cystitis but that usually has a burning pain.

Drink more water - I know it sounds silly but it will flush any infection out.

Other than that I think you are thinking about it too much and this makes you anxious so the body has to eliminate any waste products.

Sounds silly.....and sorry for TMI but looking back, I was straining quite a lot in the couple of days prior to having this issue..I had a bit of a bad stomach. Could that have irritated the bladder perhaps? Does that sound silly.
