    Heart issue! Real panic

Coping the beat I have in months and feel normal then bang...

Looked at my notes from my ECG in USA after my panic attack and notes show as borderline with right bundle branch block
I feel sick! I had an ECG last summer and it was fine
I don't know if the panic could have caused the abnormal ECG or not but I feel ill

These notes were added at the time of hospital visit..
rate 49, No ST-T changes, no ectopy, normal PR & QRS
intervals, EP Interp, The Rhythm is sinus bradycaria

So that was ok but it's 2 weeks later when it was ready. It's the block I'm so worried about.

But why didn't they tell you there was a problem if there is one?

    Re: Heart issue! Real panic

Originally on the discharge letter I got this..

rate 49, No ST-T changes, no ectopy, normal PR & QRS
intervals, EP Interp, The Rhythm is sinus bradycardia.
I was happy with this as the bradycardia was due to the propranolol and anxiety attack.

The ECG I'm reading now was 2 weeks later when read properly.

I don't understand what you are asking us?

Surely if you are worried you need to speak to your GP.

I am going to speak to my GP tomorrow but I'm more putting it out there that there is always something...just as I was getting there. Also wanted to know if anxiety and panic can affect an ECG from experience

I have way more going on than you could ever imagine lol.

You need to start working on recovery to be honest.

Anxiety and stress can absolutely change an ECG. There can also be many benign changes to ECGs that don’t mean anything bad. Doctors know a lot more than DR Google and in my experience if there’s an issue you know about it pretty quick. I wouldn’t worry about it, not every abnormality is something dangerous.

Dr. Google was actually very nice about this one! I tend to Google other people's problems rather than my own, so I can tell them not to worry if it comes up all good. And in this case it did :-)
10% of the population has a right bundle branch block. All it means, is that your left and right sides are not always beating simultaneously and that can cause irregular heartbeats.
Not dangerous, no treatment, not life threatening. Does not affect your life span in any way!

    Re: Heart issue! Real panic

Thank you so much both. GP actually got me in for an emergency ECG yesterday and all clear. So much worry caused for nothing although they explained the same Sparkling, even if it was that then it's nothing to worry about.

Ive exhausted myself and feel quite dizzy but will get over it. Have bloods and a bladder scan coming up for something else and feel quite relaxed about it strangely enough.
