Universal credit switch over

Hi,

I am in the process of having my benefits of ESA switched over to Universal Credit. I was just wondering if anyone else on here has switched over and if so how did you find the process?

I have helped someone do his and it was an easy process. The only issue was that he would be without any money for 3 weeks whilst it all happened so he had to get an advance to tie him over but yeah it was very easy.

I am being switched over from contributions ESA to new style ESA ....whatever that means ......and have been assured it's an easy process but that hasn't been my experience so far

I have had loads of stress from universal credit , having to phone them up , waiting for an hour then told I need to phone someone else

If this is making things easier then they shouldn't have changed the system at all

I think it's a disgrace quite frankly

We are poorly enough already without all this extra hassle
