    New here

Hi, I’m Sue and although new here today, I used this site some 25 years ago and found it very helpful.
I thought I was doing okay. My husband (who was my anchor) died a year ago yesterday and for the last week the anxiety symptoms have decided to take up residence again. I thought I coped so well with everything and even moved house in December. I hate these debilitating feelings mainly around health anxiety. Probably because there is no one here should anything happen to me.
Thank you for reading my post.

Hi Sue, thanks for sharing—it takes courage to open up like that, especially when the emotions are still so raw. I’m really sorry about your husband. Grief can be so unpredictable, especially around anniversaries, and it's totally okay that it’s hitting hard right now. You’ve been through a lot—moving house on top of everything too? That’s no small feat.
It’s completely normal for anxiety to resurface, especially when you're navigating such big life shifts without that person who used to be your steady presence. You're not alone in feeling that way, even though it can feel like it sometimes.

Hi Sue, I'm really sorry for your loss. That kind of grief doesn't follow rules, and it’s okay that it still feels raw. You're not alone here!
