Trigger warning C
Anyone else have very different coloured stools, loose, diarrhea and normal. Sometimes their really dark brown, others pale brown or normal. Some mixed together! Mostly dark brown, I don't think its black. I have colonoscopies every 3 years due to a polpys being found and the luck of finding a very kind consultant. I'm seeing my doctor Monday because since I had terrible Campylobacter in October things have never been the same. I'm so scarred of cancer. My last colonoscopy was 1.5 years ago this Aug that was normal. My dad passed away of bowel cancer 2 years ago under different circumstances that I don't know much about but I'm scarred. I've been diagnosed with FND and have been doing so well. I rang my doctor for something else and mentioned it to her. I've always had ibs, always go a fair few times a day either normal or explosion or both at the same time. A lot I think depends on what I eat. My doctor asked when I last had a colonoscopy and she wants to feel my stomach. It's just sent me down a hole.......I know in my head somewhere bowel cancer is slow growing from a polpy but I'm convinced now that's what it is. I was extremely anemic 1.5 years ago too which is why I had my colonoscopy a little earlier. That's good now and under control with iron tablets that have been reduced to one a day. It's been put down to my heavy periods after gynecologist referral. I'm 43 for reference. It's the dark brown, my husband has looked bless him and says it's not black or tarry which I'm presuming is like the poo babies have at first...if anyone knows? So sorry to be going on so much I just feel like shutting myself away from everyone. Even my 13 year old son who I adore. Thank you for reading xxx
