Hi everyone I was out walking the dog last night across this field where loads of bats fly around in and I felt a sharp sensation in my arm (like a needle stick) but I don't remember seeing anything when I looked which was shortly afterwards.

Bats do not attack people to be honest.
I guess you have a rabies phobia?

Extremely rare.
Why is it worrying you?

I'm really struggling with this and I don't know what to do, I don't want to die a horrible death.
I see you are in the UK? I will move your post to the rabies forum - have a read of the sticky thread in there.

It's been a week and I've got flu like symptoms. If it's rabies which I'm certain it is I'm done, it's too late.
Rabies in the UK is extremely unlikely. You are just scared and nothing more. You will be fine.
