    Heart attack at young age?

I'm 35 and have been so worried about having a sudden heart attack.. I noticed i have quite high blood pressure (145/96) i think it's due to anxiety. I also get random skipped heartbeats during the day, usually once a day...
My GP wasn't too worried at all and said a heart attack at my age is very rare. All he did was listen to my heart tho. I'm constantly on high alert checking for anything abnormal, measurring my heart rate etc.

If i get a skipped heartbeat i get even more worried for the rest of the day. I don't smoke or do drugs. How do i get over this fear?

    Do you mean 145/96 not 96/145 ?

You lead a healthy life and keep fit and active.

I have had a heart attack in my 40's and I am still here so it's not necessarily going to kill you.

Try reducing your sodium (salt) intake - that *could* help; as well as reducing the use of energy drinks.

I'm glad you're ok that's scary that you went trough that.

    Glad to hear that

My top number can sometimes be 140 but the bottom number is more concerning. Perhaps lose a little weight?! Of course you could always mention this to your doctor and they could start you on a diuretic. Please have a look at this article about natural ways to lower blood pressure.
