Buzzing sound only in left ear

Hello, since about a half year i've had a buzzing sound only in my left ear. It started randomly one day. I've been to the doctor and he checked my ear for build up earwax but said that wasn't it. I read somewhere that in rare cases it can be a tumor which got me stressed.. but i do notice it sometimes dissapears for a bit, and at other times gets worse, would that still happen if it was caused by a tumor? I have been very stressed lately aswell and muscle tension. I try to ignore the buzzing sound but it's quite annoying..

I have had Tinnitus for the last 20 + years and I've learned way(s) to cope - such as utilization of white noise machines. It is worse some days and not all that bad on other days. Also sinus issues can cause buzzing in the ear.

Thanks for your reply! Do you also have it in only one ear or in both ears?

You're welcome! I have it in both ears sometimes it feels like a cat is scratching inside my brain Lol....
