    Moral support, please?

I have a bunch of stuff going on in my life that I'm feeling too stressed to talk about now, at 5am. Feeling scared, sick, vulnerable and terrified of letting people down.

Can anybody spare an internet hug for me?

Thank you. Mr. Iris has received a diabetes diagnosis and I'm feeling scared out of my mind.

Oh Blue, my cousin has diabetes and he lives a normal and full life. Meds and diet adjustment and he'll be absolutely fine

Oh I'm so sorry Blue! my uncle has had type 2 diabetes for the past 10 years and it's perfectly manageable with medication, and watching your diet.
Even my cousin who at 19 was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, is managing fine. In fact she just had a baby She definitely has to constantly monitor but assuming later in life your husband would have type 2. And that is much easier to manage. Just an initial shock. He'll be fine and so will you.
    Big internet hugs your way

Thanks so much, all, this has really helped. I'm still sporadically panicky but I'm getting there.

    Hi blue....
My daughter in law has diabetes as done for a number of years and she fine, at first she had to check her blood levels but not anymore, she eats what she wants but everything in moderation, if she feels like chocolate she has it, if it's a cake, she has it, the key is don't overdo it but isn't that the case for everyone....
Mr I will just fine Blue, it's your imagination and thoughts that are telling you otherwise and as you well know they tell lies xxxxx
