Hey ladies,
I really need some advice/reassurance to stop me spiralling down a dr google rabbit hole again.
In June, I noticed some blood on the bedsheets the morning after sex. It was about the size of the palm of my hand.
I wasnÂ’t sure if the blood had come from my vagina or not, so I inserted my finger to check my cervix, and noticed it felt a little bumpy around the cervical opening.
After obsessing over this for a month, i went to my gp who had a Quick Look at my cervix and said it looked healthy and pink, and the bumps IÂ’m feeling are nathobian follicles.
Great!
So I got on with my life.
Had sex again, no bleeding.
Then 2 days ago, had sex again and this time there was some spots of blood when I wiped for about 24hrs after sex. It was very light, just the odd drop, didnÂ’t even stain my underwear and certainly nothing like the amount in June.
Felt my cervix again and feel like I can feel new bumps, but could just be puckering IÂ’m not sure.
I had a negative smear on 2024
Clean colposcopy, hysteroscopy and uterine ultrasound in 2022.
Visual cervical check by gp on July 2025.
Should I be worried? Should o go back to gp or monitor it a bit longer?
I have such bad anxiety about doctors and hospitals!
