🤣 sounds good
Health anxiety has a lot to answer for!
I’ve been going through it for the last 20 years!
Im sure there’s an article on here about it.
A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
It’s so debilitating when it rears up and unexpected!
I showed a haematology nurse at work today my blood results and she said she wouldn’t be worried.
Ill see what the GP says tomorrow but it has eased my mind a bit.
I've lost count of the times I've worked myself up into a state of hyperventilation over test results only to be given this response...
"Test results are fine, Mrs B"

What a day! Back to GP to discuss bloods, all borderline, could do with lowering my cholesterol with diet, exercise and cutting down on the wine a bit! All other results nothing to worry about but they want another FBC tomorrow. GP insisted I had a scan on my leg and said I’d hear about an appointment.
I get a phone call at 6.30 this evening from the gp to say I need to go to A&E straight away for a scan!
I get to A&E, I end up in the gp front door clinic to see an A&E nurse practitioner who says my calf is slightly swollen because of the bunion surgery I had 5 years ago (so it’ll always be susceptible to swelling) and the varicose vein I have on the back of that same leg. Panic over, all the worry for nearly a week for nothing!
gp extra cautious (I do get it) but when you suffer from health anxiety
I must carry on cycling, running, walking and wear a compression stocking when sitting for long periods such as my desk job.
I feel relieved *

Great news!
It's a shame they didn't advise this at the time of your surgery, but you know now..
