I had a twitchy lip the other day...
Can't recall having one in my lip before (everywhere else, including my buttocks, but not my lip)
HA gave it a go...
"You're having a stroke, mate"
I acknowledged the presence of the nasty little gremlin, but reminded myself of the gazillion times that my body has twitched in my 55 years living as an anxiety-ridden lunatic...
This did the trick.. I distracted myself (twitched until dinnertime) then it stopped.
Carnation is spot on. The more you focus on the twitch, the longer it will stick around, this is because you're adding adrenalin to the mix.. (and adrenalin can make us shake, let alone twitch)
