I've spoken to so many people and there's no support available.

IÂ’m anaemic too and most days I have no energy but IÂ’m on iron now and IÂ’m hoping that it will help. My iron has actually always run low and it never really recovered after having children. ItÂ’s a really common ailment but it can cause a lot of symptoms that are horrible to deal with. The diabetes again a lot of people deal with this, even children and they still have a full and active life. IÂ’m guessing the vascular surgeon is going to speak to you about your foot problems? Once you get a proper plan in place things will start to feel more in control. I do hope theyÂ’re supporting you with your anxiety as well

Terrible that you're not being supported more, as they must know you have an anxiety disorder. This would be stressful for anyone, especially not knowing exactly where you stand regarding treatment etc.

Write list of things you want to ask and please make sure that you are heard, as it's easy for mind to go blank when under stress.

Hope situation improves and things get easier after tomorrow. Good luck.

Seriously, I've been told to take Nytol (GP), watch TV to distract myself (mental health crisis team) and not to come in if I can't handle crowds and noise (the assessment unit itself). It's really frustrating because I feel as though nobody's going to listen to me unless I do something drastic, which I'd really rather not.

You should do whatever you feel is necessary to get your concerns heard - drastic or not!

I meant, I feel as though I won't be taken seriously until I commit an act of serious self-harm, which I'd really rather not.

Would you? I do hope not.
But I understand how bad the mental health support is, have they advised signing you off work for the time being? I saw you said you have been at work which I’m not sure if that’s helpful?
I hope your appointment goes well today blue

I can't feel safe while I never know when the hospital will phone.

Well you need to say this at your appointment.
Explain how this is affecting, your work, your life!
In the meantime, The Samaritans are the best ones to talk to if you are feeling desperate
