Found a good way to get decent clothes for a fraction of their price

I like some brands like Maschino, Armani, Hoodrich etc. But I can't afford brand new genuine designer clothes.

Was having a look through eBay and found some designer brands for cheap. I was going to pay 30 quid for a jumper at Tesco today, but felt it was a little too pricey for what you get. I found an Armani jumper with hand stitched logo, good condition. Had been worn, but looked in good shape. I put in offer for 30 and got it. They wanted 45.

The trick is don't look for the new items. They're all likely fake. You don't get new designer brands for that price. But, you will find second hand designer clothes. Just filter by "used" or "pre-owned".

I look at the pictures. I look at the background, what type of home the item is in. The Armani jumper was in a wealthy persons home, they had a large piano

I got some Maschino bits. I look for hand stitched logos, they're rarely fake. If they are, they're good fakes lol. And check the tags, most genuine sellers will add a photo of the tag.I'd pay about the same for no brand items, I'm just trying to squeeze an extra bit of bang for my buck lol.

My husband got an Armani bag on eBay for £30, and I paid £20 for a large Liberty silk scarf. It's amazing what you can find.

I love my second hand clothes and bags... (and my bags have morphed into massive ones that also fit my glasses (two pairs), medications and medicated arse wipes)

Vinted can be a bit hit and miss. Bought a top and it arrived with tea stains on it... (I mean, would it hurt to throw it through the washer before ya flog it?)

I have a clear out every now and then and recycle to the local PDSA... #winwin

Sometimes people model the clothes, so if a large breasticled woman is modelling a top, I know to definitely give that one a miss, lol (When one has lemons, there's no point buying a top that's housed a couple of melons ha ha)

I've started enjoying used clothes, you can get a lot of value for money. Out of the items I got, I had 1 fake. I filed to return it, the seller declined my request, so just waiting for eBay to step in. I knew it would happen to at least one of the items
