Hi everyone
I don’t post much on here but I’m in a huge mess right now.
Around the end of July I stopped taking Citalopram cold turkey. Stupid I know and I’m so mad at myself for doing it this way.
Around 5 weeks later I went on holiday and had awful anxiety and started with daily palpitations. I went to my doctor who checked my pulse, did an ECG, blood pressure etc and all fine. She suggested going back on the citalopram to ease the symptoms which I did.
It’s been 4 weeks back on citalopram now and I’m still having the daily palpitations. I mostly get them when I’m sitting or lying down, if my busy I don’t notice them
Has anyone else experienced this? I’m having a 24 hour ECG next week but I just can’t stop thinking about them and whether this is something more serious. Maybe I’m making them worse by always focusing on them 🤷*♀️
Xx
