Post Exertional Malaise and anxiety
I can see that I've posted about this several times and up to 16 years ago (under a different name).
Feeling ill after a particularly stressful time or panic attack.
It seems that routinely I come down with a recurring and mysterious illness which I can always link to a time of anxiety.
In the past I've seen doctors, had tests, been diagnosed and prescribed medication. But actually nothing concrete has ever been found.
I feel genuinely ill, with a low grade fever. head pressure, body aches, fatigue and a flu-sh feeling. I honestly feel as bad as when I had Covid, that's the only way I can describe it.
I came across this explanation of Post Exertional Malaise on a page for CFS/ME and its certainly the closest I've found to my unexplained illness.
Does anyone else experience this?
