IÂ’m so worried about the bumps on my cervix. There are two of them near the os, on my right hand side. The biggest is about 5mm IÂ’d guess. TheyÂ’re firm but fleshy, and when I push down on them with my finger, I can flatten them, but when flattened I feel a grainy texture in their place.

The GP had a look at my cervix in July, just with a speculum and her naked eye. She said my cervix looked healthy, nil sinister, and she could see two tiny follicles (cysts)

But this doesnt match with what IÂ’m feeling.

IÂ’m so confused and my anxiety is in a whirlwind over this. IÂ’m trying to decide whether it justifies asking to have them looked at again, or whether IÂ’d just be feeding into my anxiety.

My HPV smear test last year was clean.
I had a colposcopy on 2022 which was also clear.

Can anyone give me a “what would you do” answer, cos I’m driving myself nuts and I can’t stop checking it!

Your brain could be perceiving these as being large when in reality they're small. (I have a nasal polyp that feels huge, but the doc tells me it's actually very small)

"Clear" means there's nothing wrong.

Stop checking.

Continually poking up there puts you at risk of infection (and that would send your HA orbital despite it being self-induced)
