Last summer I started getting muscle twitches around body, a few weeks later I woke up with a pain and cramp in my right calf. I visited the Doctors as I was concerned as my Father passed away due to MND, but was fobbed off and referred to MSK for the calf pain (still waiting for appointment). After several months the pain and cramp is still there and I have stiffness in my right arm. Fasciculation's are still widespread but are quite intense in right calf and foot and happen a lot after stretching muscles. I have since been back to a different Doctor and have been referred to Neurologist just before Christmas and am awaiting appointment. There is no let up in the twitches, cramps and pain in calf but doesnÂ’t seem to be any weakness. I have read on here that MMD doesnÂ’t usually start with twitches and cramps. However, when reading stories of suffers first symptoms they are sometimes present. Worried sick.
