Yesterday was horrendous, do many ectopics.
Going to try to count them today.
Had 4 so far in 2 hrs, a lot less than yesterday.
Yes I know I should see my gp.
Can anyone advise how many they have?

I've just had another 1, so that's 5 so far.
Ectopic beats are normal. We all get them. The difference is how you're so focused on them. You're literally tracking them. That's the real issue. Most people without HA would shrug them off and go about their day as I do and I've had real heart issues. I asked my cardiologist and that's what I was told so I shrug them off.

Thank you, I'm really going to try to ignore them, i realise counting them is not rational behaviour.
I get ectopics, my wife gets ectopics, people i work with get ectopics. Everybody gets them
Stress, caffeine etc can increase them
Tell your GP you are getting ectopics and get them investigated. Then you can forget about them and they will reduce
Thank you
I have had a couple of really bad episodes. Heart beating really quickly followed by ectopics that are about 2 every minute, they do go, but it takes about an hour. Now thinking could this be atrial fibrillation!
Maybe a doc's appointment is needed for reassurance and/or further checks?

I think I'm loosing my mind!
This morning my heart started to beat really quickly, not sure why. It went up to 160, I called my cousin who managed to calm me down and it returned to normal after about 20 mins.
I then went to the local shop, felt pulse on my neck x2. I then started to feel dizzy and I've still got the dizziness when I move my head. Now really worried I have damaged an artery or something. I know I should go to see my GP..
