    Silent Migraines

I'm back after a few years off! I am keen to connect with my fellow silent migraine sufferers. I have had these on and off for years, maybe 2 or 3 a year until recently I've had 3 in 3 months. They come out the blue, the aura spreads and finishes in 20 mins then I'm back to normal. However I'm now on edge waiting on the next one. Anyone relate?

Oh yes, I count the days.
Had a bad run of them 6 months ago a particularly stressful time for me. They tapered out and I'm still on alert for another one coming.

I'm having a horrible morning, I'm so anxious waiting on next aura. :-( I'm actually scared to move as last couple happened when I got up too quickly (or at least that's what I thought). Chat GBT has reassured me that these episodes are totally harmless so I'm trying to focus on that.

They are harmless. They feel scary but harmless

I have got myself into such a state....frightened to move in case it starts. My anxiety is awful at the moment. I keep saying so what if it happens, it's harmless. Praying that message will sink in soon. I'm so glad to have rejoined this site. Came across my orininal post about it in 2019! :-)

I never used to give them a second thought until now.....I'm trying to be rational and tell myself it is what it is and nothing more. I'm much more relaxed from around 3pm as I've never had one after that time (so far) :-)
Do you mind me asking what your storey is?

Just a wee bit about when yours started, what sets them off, how long do they last etc. Most importantly any tips on how you cope? Maybe I can build some confidence hearing others coping strategies. :-)
