What meds has helped with ur anxiety???

I have been off meds now for about 6 months and although I am not feeling as depressed as I was my anxiety has come back with avengance! Im going bak to the docs on thursday and just wondered what meds has helped everyone? I have tried a few, so dont know whether its worth taking any of them again (i mainly stopped them as werent really helping with my depression after a while.)

i had bad experience with two anti-anxiety drugs from gp ,just had to get on with it then i found out about rescue remedy it really takes the edge of the anxiety ,and i am really bad with anxiety and it works for me .

its safe to use with other meds can use as much as you need till you feel
calm , google it and youll get info on it .

really sorry joy i have heard people saying the same about ,ive been really lucky ,see iwas stuck in the house for a long time ,started going out here and there but had to be in the car short distance ONLY and with my partner just
him nobody else ,then2 weeks ago got rescue remedy thought this will be s*** but no ive walked to a couple of places last week and home again a
on my own and it felt great total FREEDOM out again with the dog for short walks .have you tried any other supplements joy?

guess I will wait see what the doctor suggests.

Hi im on cipralex and they have really helped me . They dont have as many side effects as other meds and are well tolerated. I was taking Zispin and Citalopram but i put on 2 stone in weight.

Walking is good,side effects are weight loss. Talking is good,side effects are jaw ache and possibility becoming a bore. Lol.
Anything creative or problem solving is good,side effects -can be expensive,IE; Jigsaw puzles,tapestry,crosswords etc. Lol.

Citalopram seems to be working for me (not 100% but has helped) but I have put on a stone in weight which is not so good :-(
