    Diazepam - delayed effect.

Does anyone that takes Diazepam on a "as required basis" find that they feel better the day after taking them than they do on the day they took them,
    Hope that makes sense.

Hi, yes I find exactly the same. Takes ages to kick in and I only feel slightly calmer on the day of taking them, however the next day, I seem to feel really calm and relaxed.
Don't know why, but the calm feeling seems to last all the next day.

Whenever I have taken diazapan it has only lasted about 3 to 4 hours and then it has worn off.
I must be getting better though as I havent taken one for about a year and I still have them in my cupboard for emergency

I get both reactions, it works for a while after taking it,then it wears off and I feel ill again, but feel much calmer and relaxed the next day and sometimes part of the day after.
