Bipolar(manic depression) and Me

Hi I'm crazylady aka Dawn and I have Bipolar effective disorder.
Where the bipolar stops and I start I really don't know, maybe we are 1 and the same.
How long have I had bipolar? Officially 2 years. But I have had problems since I was a young child. While I was still in infant school someone from education said my problems in school where a result of my being worried about my parents fighting and them getting divorced. I would have loved them to!
Bipolar is very generous in that it gives you all most every symptom of all other depressive illness but is classed as a personality disorder. Which means it takes ages to get a diagnosis.Then you discover that you are on medication for life.
If medication was classed as food I'd never need to eat LOL.
I hate this illness! It has taken over not just my life but that of my family.
At times I feel so lonely and isolated that I just want 2 curl up and hide.
As a result of one of my medications I tremor from head 2 foot, from inside out even my eyes. And I have sudden spasms.Eating out doesn't happen alot and I very rarely write .
But I'm a surviver and with the help of my friends/family on NMP.I will continue to do so

You are an extremely strong and determined woman and although it probably doesnt seem it to you, you are coping so incredibly well with this.

Hi Dawn, and to NMP. I also have Bipolar disorder and like you wasn't diagnosed as early as I would have liked.
