A little song i wrote

heres a song i wrote last night in about half an hour, in my mind the tune is simular to coldplay-clocks


Maps

Lines and lines,
Left and right,
A hundred degrees, farenheight.
Pole to pole.
North to south.
Oceans and Rivers
Source to mouth.

Whats the point of knowing?
Id rather not know where were going?
So take ur maps and tear them up.
Cos' I think ill have more fun, if i dont look

(And im thinking)
Why am i stood here?
Sail away with me my dear.
Throw out my compass,
Who needs maps, or an Atlas.

hey, ive just written another one, hope you like.

when i can just start again.
Maybe this time ill achieve my dreams.
Not fail like in this life.
Atleast thats how it seems.

When i set out in life,
i didnt expect an easy ride.
So why am i sood here?
Staring over this cliff at suicide.

Prehaps we have to have downs to enjoy the ups.
Prehaps things arent always how they look,
And after all im am i going to lie down.
Let my hopes and dreams drown.
I see i now, so im going to stand and fight.
True, i cant make everything wrong, right.
But i dont have to in order to enjoy my life.

Life is what you make of it,
Whats the point of living,
just for the sake of it?
Well prehaps at times i may hate it,
And true sometimes i wonder,
but at the end of the day.
Id rather live in pain, than be six feet under.

When we only live once, was i going insane?
Prehaps i wont get quite where i wanted.
But ill have fun trying.
After all, its best to try and fail.
Than to do nothing and consider dying.
