Which med is best for anxiety , Citalopram or Diazepam for a non depressed person ?

Hi Decca,

I honestly think only your doctor can answer that question for you. It also (sorry to say) really depends on what country you live in. For some reason the UK seems to prescribe Diazepam while the USA tends to prescribe more other benzos. As for anti-depressants there are many to choose from. As benzos can be so addictive most doctors do prescribe anti-depressants for anxiety and there are some that are better for anxiety than depression but again your doctor will know best. Good luck.
