    coloured cards

Hi was just wondering. I went to see a hypnotherapist the other day just for a chat and an assessment before doing any hypnotherapy. When I arrived he place about 8 to 10 different colour cards on a table and asked me to pick which colour stood out most then next most till I picked all the cards. Then again he done the same before I left. Does anyone know what this is done? Thanks. Vernon

Not sure at all Vern but he obviously knows what he is doing and maybe it has something to do with when you are further forward in your therapy you will change the order it what you choose the colour cards and he can judge that by how you are progessing. Stab in the dark but could be something like that.

    Yes vernon,

I remember this , I forget what the test is called though - sorry.

The sequence of the colours you pick can be interpreted according to some theory to assess your stress levels.

So the idea is that your 'picks' should change as you move through treatment.

I picked exactly the same sequence 3 visits running each a few weeks apart and am sure I was just using memory and not 'feeling' them. The therapist wasn't amused.
